The genesis of Stateline was established on June 1, 2006, created from the former Ken Johnson Chevrolet Pontiac.
The father and son team of Bob and Lew Lorenzoni came from the former Gustman Automotive Group in Marinette, WI and purchased Ken Johnson Chevrolet Pontiac to create what became Stateline Chevrolet Pontiac of Crystal Falls.
It would be this way for five years until the Pontiac division ceased production in 2011, and then the name turned into Stateline Chevrolet of Crystal Falls for another five years.
Earning accolades and customer trust, the Lorenzonis decided it would be best for Stateline to be on both sides of Iron County. To do this, Stateline would have to purchase Lindwall Motors, a successful 108 year old, three generation dealership with the Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC franchises.
But there was a catch; General Motors would not allow Stateline to have their Chevrolet franchise on both sides of Iron County. In order for Stateline to execute its plan, Stateline Chevrolet in Crystal Falls would have to give up its Chevrolet franchise to grow and better take care of its customers.
So even though Stateline Automotive of Crystal Falls is no longer a new Chevrolet dealer, they can still offer you a great pre-owned automobile, maintain your current vehicle with its service department, provide you with a rental, and even give you a ride to Iron River to check out their inventory of new Chevrolets, Buicks, and GMC's!
